In 2007, Family Tree Farm and Tretos & Sons Corp met to discuss the feasibility of starting a new productive project in Mexico, especially in Sinaloa, where the Treto family has already settled for approximately 23 years, dedicated to the cultivation and commercialization of Mexican corn and sweet corn for fresh consumption exporting to the USA. Both companies shared friendship and business for 15 years, since Family Tree Farms has been producing Mexican corn in Tretos & Sons Corp in California, USA, since then.
